Montana Eclipse

As the umbral shadow leaves the state of Idaho, on August 21, 2017, it steps into Wyoming, and then graces the state of Montana.

Although this American state is not actually on the central line of the path of totality, it needs to be mentioned as the state that will still be one of the rare places in the world with the ability to see the total eclipse. Montana may not be the best choice for that day, considering that the path of totality will visit only a small, uninhabited part of the state and  the fact that the total eclipse will last only around 45 seconds, but it may be the most unusual as well as the most challenging one for eclipse chasers and adventurers.

The spectacular eclipse scene will start at 11:32:25 AM, MDT, in this American state that is properly called ’’Big Sky Country’’.  The celestial show will be finished by 11:33:01 AM. Although short, it could be a brilliant experience.

For those who want to enjoy a longer experience of this rare and beautifully dramatical phenomenon, you can check out  the neighboring states of Idaho and Wyoming.

For those that  choose Montana as the most original way of enjoying this moment, remember that the joy isn't measured by the duration of the moment, but by your own feeling!
